About Me

Teaching was always somewhere in the background of my life. My mother was an English teacher, and without realizing it at the time, I was learning simply by watching her, the patience, the structure, the quiet persistence it takes to explain something until it truly makes sense.

Later on, I was shaped by a few remarkable teachers of my own, the kind you don’t forget. It was not even about what they taught, it was mostly about how they made you feel in the process.

What I didn’t expect was how much my own adolescence would matter.

I genuinely enjoyed being a teenager, the intensity of it, the questions, and the constant negotiation between who you are and who you’re becoming. When I started teaching, I realized I could meet my students exactly there, with a kind of understanding that builds trust. That connection is often what makes real progress possible.

Over time, teaching for me became more than a profession. It turned into a space where old-fashioned structure met intuition, where new exam strategies could be carefully built, but never at the expense of real communication and confidence.

My academic background, including a PhD and several years of teaching at university level, have shaped the way I design my lessons: clear, purposeful, and adapted to each student’s pace and goals. At the same time, my work has remained deeply practical, focused on what students actually need in order to succeed.

Many of my students prepare for Cambridge exams (FCE, CAE) or IELTS, and over the years, they have consistently achieved their target scores, often moving up an entire band or grade through focused preparation. Beyond the results themselves, what matters just as much to me is how they get there, with clarity, confidence, and a sense that English can be one of the most powerful tools they can use in their future careers.
